I have played countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
