I have wagered on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
