I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
