I have bet on countless of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
