I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
