I have enjoyed millions of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
